I’ve never been anywhere within the natural range of the Lake Duck—Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay—nor have I been where it was introduced, in Antarctica and the Falkland Islands.Though I’ve never seen this species, I love living on a planet where people keep track of this sort of thing, thanks to Guinness World Records:

Argentine Lake Duck: Longest bird penis. Measuring up to 43 cm long, which equals this species’ combined head and body length, the longest bird penis is that of the Argentine lake duck Oxyura vittata. Corkscrew-shaped, it is brush-tipped, to brush out any sperm left inside the female from previous matings with other males, and it is also used by the male to lasso the female if she attempts to escape during copulation!
