Family: Icteridae (Troupials and Allies)
This rapidly-declining ground forager is usually found in swamps and along wooded streams, but sometimes appears in backyards during migration. (My best photos were taken in my own backyard.) No one knows why its population plunged about 75 percent between about 1966 and 2019.
