I’ve never seen a Sarus Crane nor visited anywhere within its range on the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Australia. This crane is non-migratory, and holds a place in the Guinness Book of World Records:

Sarus Crane: Tallest flying bird. The tallest of the flying birds are cranes, belonging to the family Gruidae. The largest can stand to a height of almost 2 m (6 ft 6 in) high.
