Alauda arvensis

This Eurasian species was introduced multiple times in North America; it became established in and around Vancouver Island, but that population has dwindled and perhaps disappeared. It was introduced in the Hawaiian Islands in the mid-1800s, where it has a stable population. Also called Eurasian Skylark.
