Fregata magnificens
Order: Suliformes
Family: Fregatidae (Frigatebirds)
This huge seabird, seen in the US primarily off coastal Florida, especially the Keys, occasionally wanders inland, especially following hurricanes. I finally got to see males with their inflated throat pouch in the Dry Tortugas in April 2025.
